Leah is an ecologist and conservationist who’s art and photography has a simple purpose – to bring to light the delicate intricacies of nature’s plan and pattern, it’s rhythm and formulae. Her art also broadens into jewellery design.
Leah’s formal education is in Environmental Science and Ecology where her primary passion for the health and preservation of ecosystems has arisen and is fuelled. She is currently employed with Local Government and works with community and environmental groups to educate, strategise, and build capacity for achieving positive environmental outcomes at a local level.
Her artwork attempts to convey messages of nature’s imperfect perfection as well as highlighing environmental issues that we face in a world that is so rapidly swelling with change and development. Leah’s aim is to share her knowledge and creativity with others to exact change for a more sustainable future.
