belinda james

Belinda has a background in Environmental Risk Management and environmental/outdoor education. She is currently involved in climate change awareness and adaptation risk assessment for Local Government. Previously she has been an environmental field studies instructor, teaching children in the UK. Also a painter/printmaker, Belinda’s work aims to communicate an informed environmental message and predominantly depicts abstracted or surreal organic elements such as flowers, fungi and seeds.  Her craft extends to jewellery and toy making using reclaimed materials. Belinda is an advocate of effective environmental education and using creative mediums to facilitate learning outcomes.  She is also a coordinator for the Environmental Art Collective Enviro-art workshops for children.
