Amanda Carter is both an artist and scientist.She has studied and worked in ecology & conservation for seven years and developed a strong sympathy for the living world.Her fondness for small beasts and critters, appreciation of biological form and a curiosity for things she sees around her is often the motivation for a new piece of work.
Amanda also has a background in media and promotions, working as an editor, outreach project manager and as coordinator for the 2008 EAC community exhibition.She is interested in environmental advocacy at the community level, new mindsets and developing real change.
